Charlie joined the team in 2003 and immediately stamped his authority on the team.
Charlie is the heart of the midfield and is just behind Shaun in the amount of grass covered in a game. Most of the play goes through him as he a great knack of putting the ball where strikers need it. He is an all round team player who never criticises but always encourages others when things do not go right. At the end of the 07/08 season Charlie was awarded the Managers player of the season for his outstanding contribution to the team.
